When thermal or electric insulation is paramount, plastic bushes are often the best choice. Slightly cheaper than composite bushes, plastic bushes are resistant to humidity and offer an excellent cost-effective solution in situations where heat resistance is not required.

Nylon bushes are a popular choice when a bush needs to be abrasion-resistant and durable. With its low friction properties, it is an excellent choice for use as an independent bearing.
