Titanium is a popular choice for use in airframe production.  It is both strong and lightweight, as well as resistant to a range of environmental stressors.  It is more expensive than many other options, but with its excellent properties it is often the most cost-effective option.

Aluminium gap fillers

Aluminium is both lightweight and lower cost and can be highly appropriate for use in aircraft, depending on the stressors present in the specific environment in which it will be used. Less strong than some other choices, our engineers can advise on when aluminium is the best choice for your metal gap fillers.

Stainless steel gap fillers

Heavier than some other choices, stainless steel is extremely strong and durable, as well as being resistant to a range of corrosive factors. Easy to machine, it is often a cost-effective choice.
