Avantus is part of an international group of companies that are world-leaders in the production of C-class airframe components.  We have achieved this by placing engineering quality at the core of all our practices.
 

Using a quality engineering approach throughout the workflow, combined with rigorous inspection before components leave our premises, we ensure that we deliver low-cost, high-specification parts to our customers with the highest of standards adhered to at every stage. Driving down waste and improving efficiency means that we are able to achieve cost benefits for our customers.

Quality Engineering

Our detailed pre-production consultation processes with our customers mean that we have a clear set of engineering processes outlined from the start, with any potential improvements discussed and agreed upon at that point.  Our quality engineering approach means that our expert staff are evaluating every process and are authorised to implement improvements where they see the opportunity to do so. Using testing tools at every stage, we ensure that material choice and component specifications are optimal for our customers’ needs.

State of the art equipment

Over our decades of being at the heart of the C-class component production industry, we have prioritised investment in an extensive range of state-of-the-art equipment.  We benefit from conventional as well as CNC machinery including milling, routing, turning, punching and pressing equipment.  We are also able to deploy processes such as water jet cutting and photo-chemical etching for precise detailing and the production of thin or mesh products. This means that our engineering capacity is cutting-edge and can be deployed to ensure that your components are produced to your exact specification no matter how complex the geometries.  With large factory floor space, we have the capability to manufacture large, repeatable orders as well as small, bespoke components designed specifically for your individual project.
